Fun and friendship cannot be measured....

Using standard and non standard units of measurement, Grade 5 measured different parts of the body of their peers and made notes. They particularly enjoyed being innovative with the different non standard units of measurement. Who knew taking measurements would bring such joy to the class..

Its my body and I know it all....

Students become teachers when they learn to be experts and share that knowledge with others. The same took place in our class when students carried out in depth inquiry to understand the structure and function of the different body systems and made presentations, conducted experiments, created visuals and most importantly took responsibility of their own learning.

Rang De Aasman!!!

First day of school after the winter break and students were already abuzz about the upcoming Kite Festival going to be held at the Aga Khan Academy. It was the first International kite festival being held in Telangana. A massive event where thousands of people including families, movie stars, government officials and students from various schools were expected to be part of the celebrations.

The students had already seen the posters, flyers and bill boards all over the city advertising the event. What was most fascinating, was the fact that Nikitha of our class was featured on all the posters and flyers. It must have been the happiest day of her life!!

Keeping in mind the kite festival and at the same time not losing focus from studies, the students created visuals of the different body systems and their structures on kites. They were ready to colour the sky of knowledge.

Sports day at the Aga Khan Academy...

Walking past with placards in hand, Yoga display, drill with colourful hoops and then running like a bolt..... All part of the fun filled Sports day
