Preparations to welcome Lord Ganesha into Grade 5A began long before main day of the festival. There was chattering, discussions, showing costumes, planning for the roles and smiles. The festivities had begun. All the students were to be part of the Ganesh Chaturthi assembly to be presented on 17th September, 2015 - Thursday. With just two days in hand and very limited time to plan every bit of the show, the students utilized every precious minute to its optimum.
The morning of the assembly saw students decked in colourful costumes bouncing around with excitement. They played every single role with precision, that of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvathi and Lord Ganesh. They, then, danced to the tune of Shree Ganesha Deva and explained the story of Ganesha'a birth. A flawless presentation and vibrant dance set the tune for the day.
